How to Cook Pork Chops With Jelly (5 Steps)

When it comes to meat proteins, certain flavors are ideal matches. For example, mustard serves as an ideal complement to beef, such as rib roasts and tenderloin. Lamb and mint are commonly found on holiday dinner tables. Another ideal match is that of pork and apple. It is common to stuff an apple into the mouth of a suckling pig when roasting one on a spit. The flavor of apple also meshes well with all types of pork, such as pork chops. Other jelly flavors that pair well with pork include peach, apricot, cranberry, and plum. A fairly simple idea that can be made as a weeknight meal is apple jelly-glazed pork chops.
