How do you measure 8 ounces of pasta?
You can measure 8 ounces of pasta in a couple of ways:
1. Using a kitchen scale:
* This is the most accurate method.
* Simply weigh out 8 ounces of pasta on your kitchen scale.
2. Using a measuring cup:
* Dry Measuring Cup: Most dry measuring cups come in 1-cup, 1/2-cup, and 1/4-cup sizes.
* You can use a 1-cup measuring cup and fill it to the 8-ounce line (if it has one).
* If you don't have markings for ounces on your cup, you can approximate 8 ounces by filling a 1-cup measuring cup to about 2/3 full.
Tip: Pasta expands when cooked, so remember that 8 ounces of dry pasta will yield a much larger amount after cooking.
