Betty Crocker Pasta Carbonara
Ingredients:
* 1 pound dried spaghetti
* 4 slices bacon, diced
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 2 egg yolks
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.
2. While the pasta is cooking, cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.
3. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and salt and pepper.
5. Temper the egg yolks by slowly whisking in a little bit of the hot cream mixture.
6. Add the tempered egg yolks to the skillet and stir to combine.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
8. Serve immediately.
