Ingredients for Spaghetti

For the Spaghetti:

* 1 pound spaghetti

* 2 quarts water

* 2 teaspoons salt

For the Meatballs:

* 1 pound ground beef

* 1/2 cup bread crumbs

* 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

* 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

* 2 eggs

* Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Sauce:

* 1/4 cup olive oil

* 1/2 onion, chopped

* 2 cloves garlic, minced

* 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes

* 1/2 cup water

* 1/2 teaspoon salt

* 1/4 teaspoon pepper

* 1/4 teaspoon sugar

* 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions:

To Make the Spaghetti:

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the salt.

2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.

3. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

To Make the Meatballs:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Romano cheese, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper.

3. Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.

4. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.

To Make the Sauce:

1. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more, or until fragrant.

4. Add the crushed tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, sugar, and dried oregano.

5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

To Serve:

* Place the cooked spaghetti on a plate and top with the meatballs and sauce.

* Serve immediately.
