How do you make a pasta mobile?

* Various shapes and colors of dried pasta

* String or yarn

* Beads

* Scissors

* Glue

* A rod or dowel

* A hanger

* A piece of cardboard

Instructions

1. Cut the string or yarn into pieces about 18 inches long.

2. Thread a bead onto each piece of string or yarn.

3. Tie a knot at the end of each string or yarn, above the bead.

4. Glue a piece of pasta to each bead.

5. Let the glue dry completely.

6. Attach the hanger to the rod or dowel.

7. Thread the pieces of string or yarn through the hanger, alternating colors and shapes of pasta.

8. Cut a piece of cardboard into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.

9. Decorate the cardboard circle with markers, crayons, or stickers.

10. Glue the cardboard circle to the bottom of the mobile.

Your pasta mobile is now complete! Hang it from the ceiling or in a window and enjoy the beautiful sound it makes as the wind blows.
