Can you give a hamster dog bones?

Hamsters should not be given any kind of dog bones to chew on. Dog bones are very hard and can damage the hamster's small and fragile teeth. Additionally, chewing on dog bones can splinter the bone material into sharp fragments that pose choking and intestinal hazards when consumed by the hamster.
