How long do you cook a five pound precooked ham?
You don't need to cook a precooked ham! It's already cooked, so you just need to heat it up.
Here's how to reheat a precooked ham:
* Oven: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Place ham in a roasting pan and cover with foil. Bake for 15-20 minutes per pound, or until heated through.
* Slow Cooker: Place ham in slow cooker and cover with liquid (water, juice, or broth). Cook on low for 2-3 hours, or on high for 1-2 hours.
* Stovetop: Place ham in a large pot and cover with water or broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
Tips:
* Glaze: You can brush the ham with a glaze (like honey mustard or brown sugar) during the last 30 minutes of heating.
* Serving: Serve ham warm with your favorite sides.
Enjoy!
