How long do you cook a precooked 2.5 lb ham?
Precooked hams are already fully cooked, so the goal of reheating is to warm the ham through without overcooking it and drying it out.
Here's a general guide to reheating a precooked 2.5 lb ham:
1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius).
2. Place the ham in a roasting pan or baking dish with a little bit of water (about 1/4 cup) in the bottom of the pan. This will help keep the ham moist.
3. Cover the ham with foil and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 10-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius).
4. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.
