What are some tips for grilling steak?
Here are some tips for grilling steak:
1. Choose a steak with good marbling. This means that the steak should have thin streaks of fat running through it, which will give the steak flavor and tenderness.
2. Allow the steak to come to room temperature before grilling. This will help the steak cook evenly.
3. Season the steak with salt and pepper before grilling. You can also add other spices or herbs if desired.
4. Preheat your grill to high and brush it with oil.
5. Grill the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired temperature. The steak should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium rare, and 170 degrees Fahrenheit for medium.
6. Once the steak is done cooking, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute and make the steak even more tender.
