Where do kio fish live?

Kio, also known as black mackerel or Scomberomorus koreanus, are found in the waters of the northwestern Pacific Ocean. Their range includes the coastline of Japan, Korea, and the East China Sea. They prefer the upper to middle levels of the water column and are typically found in coastal areas, bays, and estuaries. Kio fish are highly migratory and can be found in deeper, offshore waters during the winter months. They play an important role in the local ecosystems as both predators and prey for larger marine species.
