Do boy betta fish get along with a girl fish?

Male betta fish, also known as Siamese fighting fish, are known for their aggression towards other male betta fish. They are territorial and competitive, and will fight each other if they are kept together. Female betta fish, on the other hand, are generally more peaceful and can be kept together in a sorority tank. However, it is important to note that even female betta fish can display aggression and should be closely monitored if they are kept together. Male betta fish should always be kept separate from female betta fish as they may harass or injure them.
