What animals hunt the great white shark?

Killer whales (Orcinus orca) are the primary predators of great white sharks (Carcharodon carcharias). Killer whales are intelligent and social predators that often hunt in pods, working together to take down large prey. They have been known to attack and kill great white sharks, sometimes even preying on their livers and other internal organs.

Other predators of great white sharks include larger shark species, such as the bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) and the tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier). These sharks are known to prey on smaller sharks, including great whites.

In addition, some marine mammals, such as the southern elephant seal (Mirounga leonina), have been known to defend themselves against great white sharks by fighting back and causing serious injuries to the sharks.
