Can a Betta fish go in the same tank as red tailed shark?

It is not recommended to keep a betta fish in the same tank as a red-tailed shark. Red-tailed sharks are aggressive and territorial fish and may attack and kill a betta fish. Additionally, red-tailed sharks require a much larger tank than a betta fish, so keeping them together would be overcrowding the tank.
