* Harbor Seals: These pinnipeds are skilled at catching salmon, especially in rivers and estuaries.

* Sea Lions: Similar to harbor seals, they prey on salmon in coastal waters.

* Sharks: Some species of sharks, like the salmon shark, specialize in eating salmon.

* Halibut: This flatfish lurks on the ocean floor and ambushes salmon.

* Lingcod: Another bottom-dwelling fish, it preys on salmon as well as other fish.

Freshwater:

* Brown Bears: These powerful bears are renowned for their salmon-fishing skills, especially in Alaska.

* Black Bears: Another bear species that enjoys salmon, particularly in rivers and streams.

* Otters: River otters are agile and opportunistic, and they will eat salmon when available.

* Larger Salmon: Salmon are cannibalistic, and larger salmon will sometimes eat smaller ones.

* Birds: Bald eagles, osprey, and other birds of prey will snatch salmon from the water.

This is not an exhaustive list, as there are many other animals that eat salmon, depending on the location and species involved.
