What is to ruminate?
To ruminate means to think deeply or carefully about something, often over a period of time. It is often used to refer to the process of thinking about a difficult problem or issue, or to reflecting on past events or experiences. Rumination can be a positive process, as it can help people to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, and to come to terms with difficult experiences. However, it can also be negative, as it can lead to excessive worry and anxiety, or to becoming stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts.
