How to Make Homemade Pizza Without Yeast
Pizza hot out of the oven with gooey strands of melted cheese is definitely pizza at its best. Plus, home cooking lets you control the quality of ingredients and saves money compared with delivery. Making a yeast-free dough also saves time by not having to proof the yeast and wait for the dough to rise. You have a base ready for topping in just a few minutes, which means a delicious homemade pizza is easier than ever.
Things You'll Need
- Bowl
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Baking sheet
- Tomato sauce
- Spoon
- Shredded cheese
- Other toppings (optional)
- Oven
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400º F. Grease a baking sheet with 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil.

Combine the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Add the water and remaining 2 tbsp. of oil. Mix to form a shaggy dough. Knead for a few minutes on a lightly floured surface until the dough is smooth and silky.

Shape the dough into a rough circle and transfer it to the oiled baking sheet. Pat it out further to form a thin base for the pizza.

Put the tomato sauce on the dough and spread it out with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the pizza. Add any other toppings you like such as pepperoni, pre-cooked sausage, olives, or vegetables cut into small pieces.

Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the pizza for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
