How do you make a crepe?
To make a crepe, you will need the following:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Optional: fillings such as cheese, ham, vegetables, or fruit
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
4. Add the melted butter and whisk again.
5. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
6. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan for each crepe.
7. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the edges of the crepe begin to brown and the bottom is golden.
8. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional minute, or until the other side is golden.
9. Repeat steps 6-8 until all of the batter has been used.
10. Add fillings to the crepes.
11. Fold the sides of the crepe over the fillings and serve.
