Can you put a rival crock pot in the refrigerator after meal is cooked and then take out next or will it crack pot?
You can put most rival crock pots in the refrigerator after a meal is cooked, the only time this would not be appropriate is when the crock pot has been cooking for an extended amount of time and then is shocked by the the extremely low temperatures in the refrigerator. This can cause some models of crock pots to crack. For this reason, most recipes will have you leave it out at room temperature to cool for at least 30 minutes before putting in the refrigerator.
