How do you hatch a chicken without mother or proper incubator?

1. Gather your materials.

- A Styrofoam cooler

- A heating pad

- A few shallow dishes

- A water bottle filled with warm water

- A thermometer

- A hygrometer

- Chick starter feed

- A chick waterer

2. Set up the cooler.

- Place the heating pad in the bottom of the cooler.

- Put the shallow dishes on top of the heating pad.

- Fill one dish with warm water.

- Place the other dishes around the water dish to create a humid environment.

- Put the thermometer and hygrometer in the cooler.

3. Add the eggs.

- Gently place the eggs in the shallow dishes.

- Make sure the eggs are not touching each other.

4. Close the cooler.

- Close the cooler and seal it tightly.

- Make sure the heating pad is turned on and set to a low setting.

5. Monitor the temperature and humidity.

- The temperature in the cooler should be between 99 and 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

- The humidity in the cooler should be between 50 and 60 percent.

6. Turn the eggs daily.

- Open the cooler and turn the eggs gently with your hands.

- Make sure to turn the eggs at least three times a day.

7. Add water to the water dish.

- Add water to the water dish as needed to keep it full.

8. Wait for the eggs to hatch.

- Chicken eggs will hatch after 21 days of incubation.

- When the eggs hatch, the chicks will need to be moved to a brooder box.

Once the chickens are hatched, you will need to provide them with food, water, and warmth. You will also need to protect them from predators. Chickens are social animals, so it is important to keep them in a group. You can keep chickens in a coop outdoors, or you can keep them in a brooder box indoors.
