What does this mean- the sleeping fox catches no poultry?
This proverb is a warning against laziness and inaction. It means that if you want to be successful, you have to take action and put in the effort. If you just sit around and do nothing, you won't achieve your goals.
For example, let's say you want to lose weight. If you just sit around and watch TV, you won't lose any weight. You have to actually exercise and eat healthy foods. The same thing goes for any other goal you might have. You can't just sit around and wait for it to happen. You have to be proactive and take action.
