How to Bake Frozen and Pre-Breaded Chicken (4 Steps)
Chicken is a versatile, nutritious food that’s affordable and easy to prepare, and baked pre-breaded frozen chicken is a time-saving dinner option. Three ounces of chicken contains about 25 grams of protein and just three grams of fat. Round out this protein punch with some fresh vegetables and brown rice -- or splurge with some hand-cut french fries on the side.
Things You'll Need
- Baking sheet
Baking In The Oven
-
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Arrange the desired amount of frozen chicken on the baking sheet. Leave at least 1/2 inch around each piece to ensure even cooking.
-
Place baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven. Allow chicken to cook for 18 to 20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. The chicken is done when it is golden brown and crispy.
-
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve with fresh lemon, honey mustard or other condiment of your choice.
