How to Make Delicious Lime Sherbet Punch
Lime sherbet punch is fresh, tasty and pretty. Its light green color goes with many wedding color palettes.
Things You'll Need
- 2 half-gallon containers of lime sherbet
- Two 2-liter bottles of orange-pineapple juice
- Four 2-liter bottles of ginger ale
- One recipe makes two batches of punch.
Instructions
-
First, find a beautiful, clear punch bowl or dispenser. Arrange the punch cups around the bowl; have a beautiful clear ladle if you are using a bowl.
Make the punch 15 minutes before it will be served. -
Ladle a half gallon of lime sherbet in large chunks into the punch bowl bottom. Pour in 1 liter of ginger ale. Next, pour in 1 liter of orange-pineapple juice. Swish around lightly with the ladle, and the sherbet will start foaming and melting. If you have room, add ginger ale to the top of the rim.
-
Be ready to make more punch when it's near the bottom, putting a second round of lime sherbet, then ginger ale, juice and more ginger ale, into the punch bowl. Replenish as needed.
