How come they call milk low fat 2 percent skim and home when their from the same cow?

The different names for milk refer to the amount of fat content present in the milk obtained from the same cow.

- Whole milk: Contains the most fat of all milk types, usually around 3.5 to 4%.

- 2% milk: Has reduced fat content with 2% fat, as indicated by its name.

- 1% milk: Contains only 1% fat content.

- Skim milk: Also known as nonfat milk, skim milk, has the lowest fat content of all, containing less than 0.5% fat.

Despite coming from the same cow, these variations in fat content result from processing techniques such as skimming or homogenization. During processing,の一部またはすべてのfat may be removed to create lower-fat milk options while保留栄養素and flavor.
