How to Make a Rich Mushroom Gravy Recipe
Don't let gravy intimidate you; it really is not that difficult to make. This rich mushroom gravy is versatile and doesn't contain the unpronounceable ingredients common in many commercial gravies. If you want a meat-based gravy, substitute the vegetable broth for beef, chicken or port broth. Or add a bouillon cube. This recipe is excellent for special occasions.
Things You'll Need
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 large can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Chablis
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
-
Add vegetable broth, heavy cream, sliced mushrooms and Chablis to a large skillet.
-
