Classic Gyro Wrap Recipe
Yields: 4 wraps

Ingredients:
For the gyro meat:
* 1 lb ground lamb or beef
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp black pepper
* 1/4 tsp garlic powder
* 1/4 tsp onion powder
* 1/4 tsp oregano
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 1 tbsp olive oil
For the tzatziki sauce:
* 1 cup Greek yogurt
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
* 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
* Salt and pepper to taste
Other ingredients:
* 4 large pita breads
* 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
* 1/2 cup chopped red onion
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Prepare the gyro meat:
1. Combine the ground meat, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano in a large bowl. Mix well until evenly combined.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the meat mixture and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned on all sides.
4. Stir in the chopped onion and continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the onion is softened.
Make the tzatziki sauce:
1. Combine the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and dill in a small bowl.
2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the wraps:
1. Warm the pita breads in a skillet or oven until soft.
2. Spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce on each pita.
3. Top with the gyro meat, tomatoes, red onion, and parsley.
4. Fold the pita bread in half and enjoy!
