How many sodium does tea have?
Tea itself does not contain a significant amount of sodium. The sodium content in tea depends on a few factors:
* Type of tea: Some teas, like seaweed tea, might contain more sodium than others.
* How the tea is prepared: If you use salt in the water when brewing your tea, the sodium content will increase.
* Additives: If you add salt, sugar, or other sodium-containing ingredients to your tea, it will affect the sodium content.
Generally, a cup of plain, unsweetened tea will contain very little sodium. However, if you are concerned about your sodium intake, it is always best to check the label of any tea you purchase or check with a registered dietician.
