Can you tea stain with any tea?
While any type of tea can be used for tea staining, certain teas are preferred due to their deep color and staining properties. Black teas, such as English breakfast, Earl Grey, and Pu-erh, are known for their strong coloring and are commonly used for tea staining. Other teas, such as oolong and green tea, can also be used but may produce lighter and more subtle stains. Herbal teas and tisanes, which do not contain caffeine, do not typically yield significant color and are less suitable for tea staining.
