How to Make Fennel Tea (5 Steps)
Fennel is an aromatic herb that is part of the umbellifereae family of plants, making it a close relative to parsley, coriander and dill. The fruit, or seeds, of fennel have been used for centuries to relieve flatulence and aid digestion. Further, says the George Mateljan Foundation's World's Healthiest Foods, fennel is rich in fiber, phytonutrients and antioxidants that promote cardiovascular, colon and immune system health and help to fight free radicals. One of the most relaxing ways to partake of the wonderful benefits and enjoy the delicious licorice-like flavor of this versatile herb is in a nice, hot cup of fennel tea.
