How to Make a Flirtini Martini

Flirtini martinis are a fixture at most upscale bars and a big hit at parties. Easy to make and pretty in pink, these martinis are popular at weddings, birthday parties and holiday get-togethers. As with most martinis, the recipe for a flirtini has been adapted many times, so feel free to personalize the recipe by using flavored vodkas or different fruit juices.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec
  • 1/2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 oz. champagne
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Martini glass
  • Spoon

Instructions

  1. Combine vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add six to seven ice cubes to the cocktail shaker.

  3. Close the lid of the shaker and shake the contents for approximately 30 to 60 seconds.

  4. Strain the mixture into a martini glass. Be careful not to pour any ice into the glass.

  5. Top off the glass with champagne.

  6. Stir gently with a spoon.
