Is drinking Guinness good for you if have your period?
While there are some anecdotal claims that drinking Guinness can relieve period symptoms, there is no scientific evidence to support this. Guinness is a dark beer that is relatively high in alcohol content. Drinking alcohol during menstruation can actually worsen symptoms such as cramps, bloating, and mood swings. Additionally, Guinness contains iron, which can interfere with the absorption of certain medications, such as birth control pills. Therefore, it is not advisable to drink Guinness if you have your period.
