How to Make Blueberry Infused Vodka (4 Steps)

Blueberry-infused vodka is very simple to make, and it can be used in a variety of cocktails. When mixed into a vodka martini or screwdriver, blueberry-infused vodka adds a gentle, delicate flavor to an old standard. Blueberry-infused vodka can also be used to create your own unique drinks and used in marinades for red meat.

Things You'll Need

  • 3 cups blueberries, washed and halved
  • Large pitcher with top
  • 750 mL vodka
  • Reusable coffee filter
  • Clean 750 mL bottle
  • Paper or plastic label
  • Waterproof marker

Instructions

  1. Put the washed and halved blueberries in a large pitcher and cover them with 750 mL vodka. This recipe makes 750 mL of blueberry-infused vodka.

  2. Cover the pitcher and store the infusing vodka in a cool, dark place for three weeks. Shake the pitcher three to four times per week to recombine the blueberries and vodka.

  3. Strain the infused vodka through a reusable coffee filter, catching the vodka in a clean 750 mL bottle. Discard the blueberries skins.

  4. Place a paper or plastic label on the bottle. Date the bottle and identify it as blueberry-infused vodka with a waterproof marker.
