Rum & Grenadine Drinks

Rum is an alcoholic liquor made from molasses -- syrup derived from raw sugar -- hailing from the Caribbean. Grenadine, stemming from the French "grenade," meaning pomegranate, is a sweet syrup, traditionally made with pomegranate and honey. The flavor lends itself as a perfect accompaniment to rum drinks and is found in an array of Caribbean cocktails.
