How do you make the Irish Coffee?
To make an Irish Coffee, follow these steps:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of freshly brewed black coffee
- 1-1.5 ounces of Irish whiskey (such as Jameson)
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat an Irish coffee mug or heat-resistant glass by filling it with hot water and letting it sit for a few minutes. Then discard the water.
2. Add the brown sugar to the mug.
3. Pour in the Irish whiskey.
4. Top up with the freshly brewed hot coffee.
5. Stir well until the brown sugar is fully dissolved.
6. Dollop a generous layer of whipped cream on top of the coffee.
7. Enjoy your Irish Coffee while it's hot and creamy!
Note: The classic ratio of Irish whiskey to coffee is 1:2, but you can adjust the amounts according to your preference. If you want a stronger or weaker coffee flavour, simply add more or less coffee respectively.
