Can the rambutan seed make a coffee?

Coffee is made from the roasted beans of the coffee plant (Coffea). Rambutan seeds are from a completely different fruit tree (Nephelium lappaceum). While rambutan seeds can be roasted, they do not have the same chemical composition as coffee beans and will not produce a coffee-like flavor or caffeine.
