How to Make a Virgin Mary Cocktail
Whether you are avoiding alcohol or looking for a healthy new drink, a Virgin Mary is a delicious option. A Virgin Mary is a tomato juice-based cocktail with the kick of Worcestershire sauce. This recipe takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, and makes a fine summer drink or a sophisticated addition to breakfast or brunch.
Things You'll Need
- 1 glass
- 1 mixing glass with a top
- 4 oz. tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 wedge of lime or 1 celery stalk
- 1 cup of ice cubes
Instructions

Put the ice cubes and tomato juice in the mixing glass, put the top over the glass, and then shake the ingredients together for about 15 seconds.

Open the mixing glass and add the lemon juice, 2-3 drops of Tabasco sauce, and the Worcestershire sauce. Shake the ingredients together for an additional 15 seconds.

Pour the mix into the glass with ice, or if you prefer no ice, pour the mix through a strainer into the glass.

Top the glass with a wedge of lime or a celery stalk, and serve.
