Can you treat head lice with white wine vinegar?
There is some anecdotal evidence that white wine vinegar can be used to treat head lice, but there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. Vinegar can be harsh on the hair and scalp, and it may not be effective in killing lice and their eggs. Additionally, head lice can quickly become resistant to treatments, so using vinegaring alone may not be an effective long-term solution if they lice have previously been treated with over-the-counter head lice products. More recommended treatment options might include medicated shampoos and lotions; or consulting a doctor about prescription treatments as necessary.
