Can you make jam with mouldy cherries?
It is not safe to use mouldy cherries for making jam and not recommended. Consuming moldy food can cause foodborne illnesses. While cooking or making jam might kill some mold, it's not a reliable method to eliminate toxins produced by mold. Also, mold can spread easily, affecting other ingredients and potentially contaminating the entire batch of jam.
