Does cool whip have to be refridgerated?

Cool Whip does not have to stay refrigerated because it is made with vegetable oil and sugar, rather than dairy. Cool Whip will keep for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer. Once opened, Cool Whip should be kept refrigerated and used within 10 days.
