Can you make fudge with cocoa powder?

Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup heavy cream

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions:

1.) Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2.) In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.

3.) Add the heavy cream and butter to the saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

4.) Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened slightly and coats the back of a spoon.

5.) Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and cream of tartar.

6.) Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and let it cool completely at room temperature for several hours, or until firm.

7.) Cut into squares and serve.
