What is mopiko cream?
Mopiko cream, also known by the generic name mupirocin, is a 2% topical antibiotic used for the treatment of impetigo and other primary and secondary bacterial skin infections. It is specifically used to treat infections caused by susceptible strains of staphylococci and streptococci. Mopiko cream is applied to the affected area three times daily for approximately 10 days or as directed by a doctor.
