Is liquid candy the same mass as hard candy?
No.
The mass of an object does not change when it changes state. For example, if you melt a block of ice, the water will have the same mass as the ice. The same is true for candy. If you melt a hard candy, the liquid candy will have the same mass as the hard candy.
