What is the recipe for maple sugar candy?
Ingredients:
* 2 cups pure maple syrup
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, water, and lemon juice.
3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened and reached 235 degrees Fahrenheit on a candy thermometer.
5. Remove from heat and pour onto the prepared baking sheet.
6. Let cool for 1 hour, or until firm.
7. Break into pieces and enjoy!
Tips:
* To make sure the candy doesn't crystallize, make sure to stir the mixture constantly while it's boiling.
* You can add other ingredients to the candy, such as nuts, dried fruit, or spices.
* Maple sugar candy can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
