Things You'll Need

  • Apples
  • Caramel or candy coating
  • Sticks
  • Cinnamon, almond or other flavoring
  • Candy, graham cracker, nuts or other crumbles
  • Bowls
  • Wax Paper
  • Pot

Instructions

  1. Remove stems from apples. Wash the apples dry. Place one stick into each apple.

  2. Melt the caramel or candy coating in a pot. If your adding cinnamon, almond or other flavoring, add them to the pot as the coating cooks. Vary the amount of flavoring you add based on the intensity you want. Stir the flavoring into the coating.

  3. Crumble up any candy, nut and other coatings for the apples while the candy and caramel melt. Put the different coatings into bowls.

  4. Dip the apple from the stick once into the candy/caramel coating. Let the extra coating drip off the apple.
