How a cake will placed in microwave and what temp?
You can't really bake a cake in a microwave. Microwaves work by heating food from the inside out, which is not ideal for baking cakes.
Here's why:
* Uneven Heating: Microwaves tend to heat food unevenly, resulting in a cake that's raw in the center and overcooked on the edges.
* Lack of Rising: Cakes need a combination of heat and air to rise. Microwaves primarily use heat, so the cake won't rise properly.
* Texture Issues: Microwaves produce a dense, rubbery texture in cakes that's not desirable.
Instead of using a microwave, you should bake your cake in a conventional oven.
If you want to reheat a leftover cake, here's how:
1. Wrap the cake in plastic wrap or a damp paper towel. This will help prevent it from drying out.
2. Microwave on low power (30-50%) for 15-30 seconds at a time. Check the cake frequently to avoid overcooking.
3. Let the cake rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the heat to distribute evenly.
Important Note: Never place a metal cake pan in a microwave. Metal can cause sparks and damage the appliance.
