Can you put olive oil on your cutting board after it has been made?
It is not recommended to use olive oil on a wooden cutting board. While olive oil can help to condition the wood and prevent it from drying out, it can also make it more susceptible to bacteria growth. Instead, it is best to use a food-grade mineral oil or a beeswax-based cutting board conditioner to maintain your wooden cutting board.
