Tender Cooker Instructions
Nordic Ware's Tender Cooker is a microwavable pressure cooker that holds up to 3 lbs. of meat or 2 1/2 quarts of liquid. The Tender Cooker allows dishes that take hours to cook on a stove top to use pressure and the convenience of a microwave to cook in a fraction of the time.
Things You'll Need
- Foil (as needed)
Instructions
-
Place your ingredients into the Tender Cooker. Depending on the recipe, you may need to cover meat with foil to keep it moist and tender during the cooking process; the foil will not harm your microwave if used within the cooker.
-
Attach the regulator top to the cooker. Set the regulator gauge to meet the requirements of the recipe.
-
Put the Tender Cooker into the microwave. Set the microwave to meet the requirements of the recipe.
-
Remove the Tender Cooker from the microwave once cooking is complete. Allow a few minutes for the pressure within the Tender Cooker to lower before trying to open it. Opening the cooker too soon causes the items inside the cooker to explode outward with the rapid release of pressure.
