Why did Neolithic farmers learn how to make flour?
There is no evidence to suggest that Neolithic farmers learned how to make flour. While they did cultivate and harvest grains such as wheat and barley, the Neolithic period predates the development of flour milling technology by several thousand years. It was not until the Bronze Age that the first flour mills, consisting of simple stone mortars and pestles, began to appear.
