Is it ok to fill an acrylic bottle with boiling water?
It is not recommended to fill an acrylic bottle with boiling water. When plastics come into contact with high temperatures or boiling water like you get from your kettle, you have the potential to release a host of dangerous chemicals like antimony, BPA or bisphenol A, phthalates, and benzene, amongst others into your cuppa that will then head into your gut if consumed.
