How long does it take to roast leeks?
Leeks can be roasted in the oven until tender and lightly browned. The roasting time will vary depending on the size and thickness of the leeks. As a general guide:
Whole Leeks: 25-35 minutes
Halved Leeks: 20-25 minutes
Quatered Leeks: 15-20 minutes
It's important to watch the leeks while roasting so they don't overcook and become limp. You can insert a fork or knife into the leeks to check their tenderness. When the fork or knife slides through easily, the leeks are cooked.
