4. Electromagnetic Valve (Solenoid): In most cases, a cooker flame safety device includes an electromagnetic valve (solenoid valve) that controls the gas flow to the burner. When the control module receives a signal indicating the presence of the flame, it keeps the solenoid valve open, allowing gas to flow through the burner.
5. Interruption of Flame: If the flame on the burner is extinguished due to a draft, boiling over, or other factors, the flame sensor will no longer detect the heat. As a result, the electrical signal will stop, which the control module immediately recognizes.
6. Action Taken: The control module will take swift action upon recognizing the interruption of the flame signal. It will instantly shut off the solenoid valve, cutting off the gas supply to the burner. The gas flow is blocked, preventing the release of unburned gas into the kitchen.
7. Reset Process: To restart the cooker and use the burner again, the user typically needs to turn the control knob to the "Off" position and wait a specific amount of time, as per the cooker's manual. This allows any residual gas to dissipate from the burner area. Once the waiting time has passed, the user can turn the control knob to the "On" position to reignite the burner and resume cooking.
